Azalea Shadows : Haunted Ghost Tour or Bar Crawl, through downtown Summerville, SC just outside Charleston, exploring the hidden scandals, tragedies, and ghosts.
Welcome to Azalea Shadows, where Summerville’s blooming charm meets its haunted past. Nestled in South Carolina’s Lowcountry, we blend ghostly tales, historic streets, and a few spirited drinks into one unforgettable night. Why drive to Charleston, when there are plenty of ghosts here!
Founded in 2025 by lifelong locals, Azalea Shadows is more than a tour — it’s a lively mix of storytelling, history, and Southern hospitality. We share the legends that linger beneath the azalea-lined streets: the soldiers who never left, the Victorian ladies who still wander moonlit porches, and the mischievous spirits who seem to love a good bar as much as we do.
We offer two walks:
Our 1.5 hour Shadows of Summerville walk offers a picturesque stroll through downtown Summerville, stopping by century old houses and parks, with stories of residents, who refused to leave.
Our 2-hour Spirits on the Loose Haunted Bar Walk combines Summerville’s best nightlife with spine-tingling stories told by expert guides — all in good fun and great company. Enjoy a few drinks at handpicked local bars while uncovering centuries of mystery, scandal, and charm.
